Fashion With Intention
Many Frocks is building a circular fashion model that transforms pre-consumer textile surplus into thoughtfully designed garments, demonstrating how sustainability, design and business viability can come together.
By giving valuable textiles a renewed purpose, we address the challenge of textile waste while creating opportunities across our ecosystem. Through responsible design, craftsmanship and conscious production, we continue to explore how fashion can become a medium for meaningful environmental and social impact.
Our Impact Through the Sustainable Development Goals
Our work aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reflecting our commitment towards responsible consumption, climate action, inclusive growth and collaborative change.
SDG 12 — Responsible Consumption & Production
Transforming Textile Surplus Into Purposeful Fashion
The fashion industry generates significant textile surplus during manufacturing, often before products even reach consumers.
Many Frocks addresses this upstream challenge by working with pre-consumer textile surplus, including factory offcuts and export surplus, transforming these materials into thoughtfully designed garments.
By intercepting high-quality textiles before they enter conventional waste streams, we extend material life cycles and demonstrate the potential of circular design in fashion.
Our Impact
4 lakh+ meters of textile surplus transformed
Through our circular design approach, we have given renewed purpose to over 4 lakh meters of textile surplus, creating premium garments while extending the life of existing materials.
Reducing textile waste through circular innovation
By keeping valuable textiles in circulation, we help divert usable resources from potential disposal pathways such as landfill or incineration and reduce dependency on virgin textile resources.
SDG 13 — Climate Action
Measuring Impact Through Responsible Choices
Climate action requires measurable change.
At Many Frocks, we focus on reducing the environmental impact associated with conventional fashion production by extending textile lifecycles and adopting a more responsible approach to manufacturing.
Our Impact
45% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions
Our impact has been validated through an independent Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) study conducted by Arantree Consulting Pvt. Ltd.
The assessment measures the environmental impact of our circular approach compared to conventional production methods.
Through conscious material choices and circular practices, we continue to work towards reducing the environmental footprint associated with fashion production.
SDG 5 — Gender Equality
Creating Opportunities Through an Inclusive Circular Fashion Model
Addressing textile waste is not only about materials; it is also about building an ecosystem where people can participate meaningfully in the solution.
At Many Frocks, women are an integral part of our journey. We invest in training, mentoring and capability building for women from underserved backgrounds, helping them strengthen their skills and participate confidently in the workforce.
Our approach is not about fashion alone — fashion is the medium through which we demonstrate how circular business models can create inclusive opportunities.
